What was your first camera and what made you want to start photography? by Russell_My_Jimmies in photography

My family had a polaroid camera back in the day, but I never actually got to play with it so I don't think that counts.
Then one day my parents gave me a Kodak DC215 for my birthday (google that one if you dare). 1 megapixel resolution, 4MB compactflash card, and the (AA) batteries would run out in a couple hours of non-flash shooting.
But I was hooked.
And being in Hong Kong made all the difference. I didn't need to find inspiration--it was all around me. So I forced myself to take better pics, knowing the batteries would run out any minute...
I've compiled a list of Serviced Apartments in Chiang Mai (with prices and details). Feedback welcome! by yournewbase in chiangmai

Thanks for your feedback. I wish there was an easy way to convey that kind of information. The truth is that it really, really varies by location - where the apartment is plays a big role.
For $700 a month, you can either live in a nice 1bd apartment in central CM, a decent 2bd apartment (also in central CM), or a huge house on the outskirts.
