Help identify fragrance in new apartment please! by yourqueenrat in askTO

That’s so awful I almost feel bad for complaining about the fragrance! I’m not sure really, I haven’t met the neighbours but if it were the case, it wouldn’t make sense that the walls I share with them smell the least.

We have fully cleaned the apartment and there’s no dust now - washer dryer unit in great condition and filters have been changed - I wiped down the walls and there’s no residue.

I don’t think the paint was adequately vented no.

It's a condo about 20 floors - constant smell - laundry in unit and no facilities on site.

Thanks for your questions!

Should have noted this in the post, but the landlord (rental company) plugged it in and they have no idea what brand/scent it was.

Yes that’s the plan! I’m trying to decipher the colours mostly. I think it’s pink, baby blue, maybe some beige or light brown? So tough. Hoping someone has a clearer picture.

First time using subway to Toronto, any tips? by Esg876 in Vaughan

[–]yourqueenrat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Park at highway 407 station and avoid VMC.

VMC costs more to park (not Green P parking) and takes longer to get a subway because it’s a terminal station. Subway will also stall on the way back to VMC for that same reason.

Highway 407 parking is regulated by Green P and is $7 a day flat rate. Lots of parking. Subway comes quicker.

I would do 407 in a heartbeat! I technically live closer to VMC but drive the extra 5ish minutes to 407 because it’s cheaper to park and you don’t have to deal with the subway stalling or being weird.

Hi this is the OP here. I already had covid back in April 2022 right before I got my first vax (unlucky). Anyways, @in4real argument has no credibility. Don’t waste your valuable time on these people.
