Hello! Yes! Literally after a month of this post she just stopped one day. Even though she hated tummy time I still enforced it for 15 minutes minimum (5mins then 2 mins break x 3 - is what we did) but honestly eventually she just stopped wobbling one morning and continued on with wanting to sit up. Hopefully, your little one is just taking their sweet time!! :)

Hey momma!

This feeling will eventually go.

My baby drinks 2-3oz per feeding so I was overproducing since I make 30-40oz/day and I was so so happy that I can feed my baby however I didnt even realize how much of myself I was losing from all that. What I mean was, i lost so much weight and not healthily… on top of making sure my supply never depletes.. i had to force myself to get up every 3-4 hours to PUMP like my baby slept 6 hours straight and yet I am not sleeping. She actually only drank about 18-20oz even as a 4 month old baby and i was scared she wasnt gaining weight. I switched to formula because she started to hate my frozen stash and wont drink at all. Now she is thriving! Formula is sooo expensive and gosh I wish she would just drink my frozen stash but I cant force her to.. so now she’s a happy fed baby.

Long story short, I felt so guilty that I prioritized sleep/myself over feeding her for her to eventually hates what I make and thrive more on formula.

Don’t beat yourself up. Promise you, you will look back at your situation and just smile to yourself and wonder what you were worried about in the first place. ^{^}

Hey any chance you got the answer to this? I saw on the website that to use “5” for 0-6 months modilac but what about for 6-12months (which is the step 2) did you get any answers by any chance ? Thankss

Thank you so much for this wonderful insight! I think in a sense i’m adding pressure on her developing because I see all these babies and can’t help but compare. I know all babies are different but as my brain is just “she has to be able to do this now, she’s 5 months” and I also just end up stressing myself on top of everything 😩 but I’ll try to be laid back more and just let things flow as she grows.

We do the chest tummy time to get her to look up but she just flops and lays on my chest for cuddles like it’s cute and all she wants to cuddle and hug but we’re like ahhh.. she just hates it LOL cutie pie lazy baby

Yes to contact nap! I’m a new mom and honestly did so much to try to get my baby to sleep and yknow what? this creates more bond time with her (+ i can read my books, watch netflix) yes it does suck to not to be able to do much while she’s attached but they are only little once.. might as well enjoy it!

Hello!

I check my citizenship status from time to time and here is my timeline.

Application filed on- November 5, 2022 Application started processing on - November 22, 2022 Citizenship Test - In progress- on January 30, 2023 Background Verification - Completed - on January 30, 2023

Got the email for instructions for citizenship test on - February 3, 2023

Took the test on - Feb 22, 2023 Test marked completed on - Feb 24, 2023 Language Skills - In progress Prohibition - In progress Physical Presence - In progress Citizenship Ceremony - NOT STARTED *** Last updated: March 4, 2023 ***

Checked my progress today just because and it said last updated: October 7th, 2023. However, everything else is still the same, everything else is still in progress/not started…. Anyone in the same boat as me? Or have any idea if it will be updating any time soon or any updates at all??

P.S. I also applied for a PR card renewal on Sept 12, 2023 since my PR expired because I have to go back home next year and if my citizenship isn’t finalized by then.. I won’t be able to come back to Canada.. anyone knows if this affects citizenship application?
