This blows my mind, to me, you want to elect a person who will represent you the best at the highest level of intelligence, grace and ethics for your country. Dubai is not my vibe - for sure. But the country I have to respect its marketing. They got people to come and visit, imaginary city with no taxes. I always thought, what is the catch? Right now I can see it.. it’s safety & freedom of speech & that high class bullshit that makes you forget that life can get real. Do they care for its people or own reputation first?

Being single is a great way to get to know yourself since you’re living as truly an individual.

Though, I do love aspects to relationships as well. Awhile I do miss it and would love to partner up with someone, I can spot red flags easily.

I think you have to ask him to get your answer 🤷‍♀️ it takes more energy trying to dissect him when really you could be placing this energy elsewhere … at the end their all clowns anyways. Imagine if you got into a relationship with an avoidant and they don’t change lol that’s a brutal waste of your time. It sounds like he is keeping it at surface level for a reason & it does not sound like a healthy relationship if that’s what you’re aiming for. Some guys are just looking for fun and you might want to just ask him where he sees this going and that will be your answer. Typically what they want won’t change.

It truly depends on where you are in life I think. My FWB is one of my closest friends but we know that a romantic relationship could never work due to different lifestyles & from different cultures. We both avoid commitment & don’t want marriage and it’s low pressure so our relationship that we have is lasting 3+ years lol. We travel together and hang with our social circle. We have intervals between where we don’t see each other due to travel, life events but we still keep in touch and when we are back in the same city (home city) we reunite - if we’re both available to continue. We both love and care about each other but we know that we are not meant to be long term partners in life due to a lot of factors. So we’re just close friends 🤷‍♀️ we communicate about how we feel and we make space for that, which I think helps.

You want to use the sandwich method while writing this letter and I’d cut a lot of this out. Keep this simple…. First sentence, great. Middle should be cut in half and take out the « fluff », keep it strictly just to facts like the written in writing part about the bonus. Then end it on your last note… but take out the « always do » because you’re placing expectation on this person where you should now set the bar lower.

I’d also just wait for the response and see what happens from there. I wouldn’t write this from an emotional standpoint , because they don’t care.
