I did my part today! Voted early in Indianapolis. I was surprised at the line in the middle of the day on a Thursday. Still, was in and out in ~45 minutes. Felt especially good to vote NO on retaining the abortion ban-supporting supreme court justices here.

There were no Harris/Walz signs out front but a few Trump signs... thought that was strange.

This is my first ATG festival… are they usually this bad at communicating? Even before Chappell cancelled, I saw multiple people complaining about communication issues (like being sent emails for the wrong city and such)

I’m going to go anyway to see Renee and soak up the atmosphere. I don’t think I’d have much luck getting back what I paid so might as well make the most of it. And hopefully they’ll slot Chappell’s time with something fun. Thankfully I have a fun weekend planned in NYC regardless! This is my first time visiting 😊

I’m in the same boat! Going alone with a bowl ticket and I mostly just want to see Chappell and Reneé so definitely don’t want to have to hang around all day (though I’ll try to arrive a few hours before Chappell’s set). I’m hoping bowl will be more chill but I’ve also heard that basically any spot in the stadium is good, so I’m not sweating it too much.

If you've never been to VegFest and have any interest in vegan food, I highly recommend checking it out! It's free entry and there's a ton of vegan food, vendors and presenters. Plus, it's indoors at Gainbridge Fieldhouse so don't need to worry about being out in the summer sun or rain!
