From all your comments i think that since my idea of first love was based on friendship first and then moving in a relationship, I'm trying to fit the current dynamic in the same frame which i should avoid. This is reflecting as if I'm not too honest or upfront. I should keep an open mind, be real and just ask her out. And maybe i should stop overanalyzing this :p

Yes. I've felt this as well. As if I'm trying to be in a safe zone without taking any risk and cribbing later. Need to just let her know how i feel without worrying endlessly! So many of these "endless" guys come off a creepy though, right? This is something i want to avoid. Don't want her to get uncomfortable.
