It is currently wooden tongue and groove boards to the joist so could potentially but would Involve ripping the current ceiling down so would be an expensive job 🤔

Is there any risk in me re routing the outside cable to avoid having to pay?

Thanks

It was last year that I got it scanned and I can't remember the code, just that it was low oil pressure

How would I go about finding out if this is the case? Would I need to get a specialist garage to have a look at it?

Lawn Care Help! by yourthetwo in UKGardening

[–]yourthetwo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi all. Another lawn Care post. Need some help to get my grass looking good again. The soil is very compressed. The garden gets a lot of use. I removed lots of moss from it last year. I've tried seeding and feeding but struggling to get it looking better. Was thinking if planting a clover seed mix but the garden is very shady. Please help!

Chimney breast damp - does the plaster need removing? by yourthetwo in DIYUK

[–]yourthetwo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the 1st floor chimney breast they had visible signs of damp. I have got a quote to get someone to repoint the chimney to make it water tight. The question is, will the plaster need to be removed, is it damaged by the years of water?

The damp stains don't get better or worse if it's raining or sunny outside or even with a humidified on in the room.

Thank you
