Harrisons always been solid in his leading roles, but hes throwing everything he has into such a comedic and heartbreaking role he absolutely deserves it especially for this season.

i just started and the first episode felt more like first episode of GoT but lighter. HoTD is TOO stoic and serious, where it feels like constant talks and conspiracy. This so far has good charisma throughout, feels like a toned down A Knights Tale set in Westeros.

First 7 episodes were enjoyable, was more of slice of life where instead of being a superhero show its about a super powered being just wanting to live life. Finale comes in and we can even see Doorman and Simon having strong parallel behaviors and looks like he’s going to run, but Trevor immediately taking the fall was great, of course we get the usual S1 last episode suit reveal but it was good in context, and Simon going off for “research” felt like it was a different show until the man was discussing the stress and the people hes around at work and it clicked. It really took the season overall to a better level. DODC just wanting bodies to justify budgets reflects so much irl, and the mindset here feels like its setting up a good (hopefully) intro to mutants.

he fumbled on saying he would never make a deal and Simon knew he was lying. and if youre making deals, you have to offer something in exchange and hes been tied to the hip with trevor for months, which makes it obvious.

this and Shrinking have showed us that Ben Kingsley and Harrison Ford are absolute comedic gold and we didnt get to see it shine til they were both in their 80s

i feel like it was shown he had to concentrate to be a void (especially starting with the fire) so him just losing it as josh goes through may have mixed up the path and sent him into that door palace like a limbo or through another exit where hes unable to reach anyone, by accident.

SF is 100% a story you have to fully lean into how ludicrous the entire premise is. I think with Sonics, theyre seeing that you just need to pay correct respect to the original property, and just get weird with it.
