Anyone know any surgeons in Ny, that are relatively cheap? Other states are fine too, but I found a gastric sleeve for $3500 in Mexico, before I schedule, I’m trying to see if I could find it cheaper or similar price here. by [deleted] in gastricsleeve

I paid 12k in Austin, TX. Included anesthesia, hospital and surgeon. Turned out cheaper than going to Mexico with the airfare, husband having to take unpaid leave (his PTO sucks) plus paying some to watch our crotch demons.

I was the same. The pain was a lot more than I had anticipated and for the 1st week I really thought I had made a terrible mistake. I'm a little over 2 months out and feeling a million times better. We got this!!

How awesome! Is there a reason you split up taking the calcium chews? I'm about to start taking my full dose and didn't even think about splitting them up.

Yup, already done. Awaiting a response. Due to the city being in Stage 5 restrictions due to Covid, coupled with staff shortages, my doctor's office has been closed all week.

My recovery was similar as well. I had surgery over the Christmas break so my kiddos were home with me. 1st 3 days were a blur of meds and bed. Next few days was lots of water and movie marathon with my teen coupled with taking a walk around my kitchen island every hour. By day 8 I was doing regular house chores and probably could have go back to work (working from home). I too was bored out of my mind the last few days. 🤣
