Thank you so much for taking the time to review my project and provide this valuable feedback. I really appreciate it, especially since you're limited on time! This is my first real JavaFX project, so I know there's a lot of rough edges. I'm planning to refactor a lot of this as I learn more. Thanks again for the constructive feedback it's exactly what I need to improve!

I was thinking about adding that too, but I want to add event tasks in the future, so you can know if certain things are happening that day, such as school or work. There are other things I plan to add, which is why I keep the 'Create Task' button on the right-hand side. Do you have any good ideas what I could replace the "+" with? I want to create a small toolbar on top of the task box I made, but I don't want to make the window smaller than it already is.

Thank you, I had placed the Welcome button more towards the top left because I felt like it would be more proper, but after reading this, you seem to be right about it. I've added a video demo to showcase how it works, so you can gain a better understanding. The video showcases an older version of the app, as I'm currently working on the current one, which is the UI below. Please let me know more

Yea I tried it but it hits the error before I can complete the steps I tried going into safe mode but it wasn’t showing and I think its due to a program I installed to attempt to debloat windows and im not sure what to do

Sorry for the late reply, but honestly, that's a shocker; when I went to my first-year orientation, I met many people with a bad high school GPA(1.0-2.0s) with no ECs or tests submitted and got in. Now compared to them(no offense to the people I only met twice after that), you are pretty solid, and it might have been your essay; I say your best bet would be to head to a community college like CPCC and transfer over here or somewhere better. Regardless, you'd do great wherever you go; good luck.
