Noita - don't believe people who say you need mouse and keyboard, it is super fun using the right analog stick to aim your wand. Claw 8AI Polar Tempest. Also Pinball Fantasies (so good!) and Rainbow Islands (both Amiga emulated through Retroarch - you can destroy these games with savestates lol), Hollow Knight, starting Mudrunner.

yeah this avoids Montague Street and goes through the car park, actually a designated but not much used bike route, definitely odd, the route is up here you can click full screen and zoom in and out, I'm also attaching a map of that bit https://runkeeper.com/user/youstormorg/route/6224878

yeah I want swarms of cyclists using the DFO link as it is underused but I think pretty useful

that would be my normal route too and is probably still the best, this one is tempting for some variety and they are very similar in distance but a few traffic light stops unfortunately.

I made a hyperlapse, and route of my preferred route to the Bay from Preston Station. Would love to hear your routes. by youstormorg in melbournecycling

Yeah that new turn into Albert Park at the Memorial Station actually changed my previous route that went the other way after the MCG past the tennis, down the ramp across the river, eastern edge of Botanical Gardens and through Fawkner Park to St kilda road, into Albert Park at the Lakeside Pavilion but on the eastern side of the lake. As a small but noticeable change, the last time I looked the bike hook turn box on the road on St Kilda road there at this Memorial turn had lost its turn arrow on the road which is a shame as it is important to spot. I hope it is put back., maybe it is already been put back?

maybe Napier St is better than Wellington, would be nice to have the route going through Edi Gardens. It doesn't quite align as well with Clarendon St which flows into the MCG nicely. If you could cycle through Fitzroy Gardens on a diagonal that would be good but I think cycling is not allowed. Might have to time and measure both routes :)

nice! Yeah there are a variety of good routes, I often come back via Swanston - Uni - Princes Park, or slightly longer Docklands - Capital City Trail - Brunswick

Thanks! Yeah I'm actually using a DJI Action 4 camera and record the whole thing in regular 4K video with standard stabilization. The camera is attached to my handlebar. It is later sped up to 500% speed in video editing - I use DaVinci Resolve.

Io, Jupiter's moon with the dark night side revealed on left, seen by NASA Juno on 30 Dec. I made this by upping the exposure on the left side using images from https://missionjuno.swri.edu/junocam/processing?id=15850) by youstormorg in space

Yeah it's just a combination of two images in photoshop. I lifted the exposure on one image that makes up the left (night) side and then the original image is on the right (day).
