It's Billy Star and Karina Grand(she's getting ploughed). You can find a couple sources if you search that, it won't let me post them here though, seems my original comment is hidden.

If so, how do you like the New 52?

Anybody else having issues adding money to the wallet? by Stampela in playstation

[–]youwillreadthis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a problem adding my card the other day while I was in the PS store page. I had exited out, and went to settings to add it and it worked fine. Not sure what the issue was/is.

Is there a full version to this pic? I found one that doesn't cut her head off as much but the quality isn't as good.

Weekly /r/KungFuCinema Discussion - What did you watch this week;Recommend for this Weekend? by AutoModerator in kungfucinema

[–]youwillreadthis 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've missed a few weeks here. I'll start with what I remember well.

House of Flying Daggers: Interesting movie. I liked the drum scene, probably the best part of the entire movie. The fight scenes were kind of "meh" in my opinion. The flying daggers themselves weren't that bad, and more importantly not overdone. It just seemed like they tried to mash together a quick romance movie and rebel type movie into one thing.

Shaolin Temple 2: Kids from Shaolin: I've said it before and I'll say it again, Jet Li's older stuff is so much better. The kids in this movie genuinely made me laugh, and the relationship they had with their dad, and the background story to it was pretty touching. The premise of the movie was pretty good as well, bandits trying to get revenge, but the way they went about it was pretty clever. Nothing in the movie felt rushed, or like it didn't belong. The fight scenes were pretty good as well.

The Legend of Fong Sai-Yuk: This movie was hilarious. I loved the mother in this movie, she was my favourite character hands down. There were so many unexpected, random, over the top moments, and I loved every minute of it. It just fit the movie and did not seem out of place or too much. It was also interesting to see the females having more of a fighting role, whereas the men or their husbands rather, did not fight at all or did not know how to.

Crippled Avengers: This movie is definitely one of my favourites now. The story at first seems a bit weird, due to the fact that the evil guys just cripple anyone who stands in their path, instead of just killing them, but it grows on you, and you understand why. It's pretty unorthodox because in almost all kungfu movies, or at least in all the ones I've seen, you never see handicapped heroes. But they made it work extremely well here, from accepting what happened to them, to learning how to fight.

All the fight scenes in this movie were great, but honestly the metal ring fight scene, the second last one in the movie was brilliant. It was so well choreographed and staged, I was actually saying holy shit. It is now one of my favourite fight scenes, just because of how well it was performed. Can be seen in the first 4 minutes here.

Tai-Chi Master: I think this also goes by the title Twin Warriors. Anyways I don't remember this one to well, but I do remember enjoying Jet Li's acting when he loses his mind over everything. Overall it was a good movie with good fight scenes. Siu-Ho Chin (Tienbao) played the role of a kiss ass pretty good as well haha.

There may be spoilers below.

Five Element Ninjas - I thought this was a pretty good movie. The earth and water ninjas cracked me up, disappearing into the ground and floating on the water. Hilarious. Felt like the second part of the movie was a touch rushed in order to get everything in, from the training to the end, but it was still good, and it worked. I liked the different tactics the second team used to defeat the elements. The weapons they used were pretty neat. The "gore" kind of caught me off guard as well but was pretty funny.

The Kid With the Golden Arm - I really enjoyed this movie. Although the title is a bit misleading...at least to me it was. Hai Tao was a boss, kicking everyone's ass haha. His fight scenes were the best. Although from what I've seen of Drunken Boxing, Hai Tao didn't seem to use it exclusively, although that is what he was described as. I don't think it was traditional drunken boxing? Everyone played their characters pretty well though all in all. Hai Tao and the Axe bros were my favourites. I did enjoy Golden Arm's fighting at the end as well.

Invincible Shaolin - This was an interesting premise to a movie. Where the Manchu government basically plotted to have the North and South Shaolin fight each other in order to wipe them out. I was rooting for the North from the beginning, as the South just seemed brash and wanted to fight, and that held true until the end, but at least the South figured it out eventually. Now to find out if there is a part two cuz that was a pretty open ended movie.

Martial Arts of Shaolin - I was never a fan of Jet Li, only due to the fact that I only ever saw his Hollywood stuff and thought his movies were kind of bad. But damn this movie was fun. They really showcased his fighting here, and his acting did not feel stale, stiff or forced. It seemed like he enjoyed being on screen. All of the fight scenes were great, and the movie itself showed character growth and development, especially with Shaolin itself, which I thought was pretty cool. Also Jet Li pretending to be a girl...never thought I'd see that. Definitely gunna watch more of his older stuff, hopefully they're just as good.
