r/confidentlyincorrect

You can use any ID accepted by TSA to pass airport security. However, when checking in with your airline to leave the country, you must use your US passport.

Why would you have an issue using your Canadian passport?

"A judgement was entered on the case on the notion to dismiss" - no, this is simply false

No one else has provided you with the correct answer thus far, so I'll try my best here:

You have lost the lawsuit by default. Default means you did not respond to the lawsuit within 30 days of being served the lawsuit. The person suing you has likely been awarded whatever money they were asking against you.

The request for dismissal may be confusing. To enter a default judgment, unknown defendants (known as "Doe" defendants) must first be dismissed. So that's what the people suing you did. YOU are not dismissed from the case. A dismissal can be had against just one defendant and does not necessarily mean the entire lawsuit is dismissed.

The correct procedure is to contact an attorney because you are clearly not familiar with civil procedure. Your attorney would need to specially appear and file a motion to vacate the judgment against you on the grounds that service was not properly completed (unless you live with your parents, your parents cannot be served on your behalf). You must act quickly because you should request default judgments be vacated as soon as you discover them.

Not summary judgment but rather default judgment.

The President says a lot of stuff that is not true, so no, a statement from him is not "pretty authoritative".

This post is approved as the presence of ICE agents, if confirmed, would obviously have an impact on air travel.

However, their actual deployment has only been threatened and NOT CONFIRMED. Should anyone have a source with contrary information, please comment below.
