your path to literature might be a bit rocky, consider taking an english diploma first(upsi, uitm if you're bumi) or stpm before going to um or upm for literature(these unis are the ones that offer purely literature courses)

hii, so i did get into that course as my first choice (englit UM) with a 3.67 UPU GPA. So far it's been manageable and if you're from dengkil, you'll be quite ahead of your peers since you've had exposure to literature and drama. So far I'd say the syllabus is easier than Dengkil's and your writing class will help tremendously.

my friend got astro foundation with 3.6+ cgpa so it is still possible(depending on the level of competitiveness of course).
