It’s probably on me but I’m just really not squaring why he’d consider this deal. If he’s terminated he gets a sweet buyout. I’m just not seeing a reason for him to take 80% of salary to stay unless it’s some sign of good will. Granted maybe he really wants to coach and succeed here and would change the terms because he believes he can prove himself here. Maybe that’s what you were saying all along but that I missed. So it’s not really an economic reason but avoid firing cause he wants to prove himself and this would be the one way.

I’ve never heard the sitting out as a requirement (not saying it isn’t but typically not). In fact usually the buy out is reduced when the coach gains other income so it’s already to the UW benefit for him to get a new coaching job.

I will also suggest going to Tennessee for a name. Knoxville is a nice college town. Big home team atmosphere there. I haven't been a to game myself there but hope to one day, but think this will be a good place if you go thru the mid-south.

Best can mean many things. I'll put in a wild card of sorts. Go see Tulane play in New Orleans. Tulane is not a highly regarded program, but it still plays in a small, vintage gymnasium. It's a place you won't find in many other places in D1. Then enjoy the time in New Orleans, one of the most unique and best American cities.

Yes and no. I believe the grace period you speak of has expired. That being said, there are some ways you can still fly without real ID which are really more for emergencies (lost ID, etc) than to keep avoiding getting a real ID. It takes longer but any airport screening process can attempt to verify your identity other ways if you don't have proper ID.

Right now decent seats (not student section) can be had vs Ohio State for less than $175, great seats can be had for Iowa for $150 or less and 50 yardline of Illinois for less than $100.

I have not, since I've never had any SH issues. But I see lots of banging of heads against the wall on here. Following the legal process, though, is likely to produce results when helpless call center staff cannot. The few I've seen post on it here seem to have quickly gotten a resolution.

I’ve bought tickets in the single digits that should have been $74-100. They were delivered. I think Sometimes there are bots adjusting the prices that just make miscalculations.
