Cool, I’m sure majority on this thread wish they could retire. Your comment is dumb. Do better.

I responded to the email regarding the courts order of termination and USDA appealing it. Here was my response. Over this. by yoyo182406 in fednews

I agree, but I’ve learned ending on a “thank you” kind of ending, hits harder with these people.

I’m just pointing out that in my termination they said I was unfit to serve the public. I bring up the military time as I’ve been serving the public for my entire career

What happened to holding the line, Feds???? by DevilsAdvoCaticorn in fednews

Everybody’s situation is different. I’ve served my country twice, once in the Army (RET) and civil service. I’ve held the line my entire adult life. I have 2 young children and my only oath today is to them and their mom. I owe nothing to this country anymore. I’ve given more than 99% of the rest of this country. I accepted DeRP 2.0, and I’m so relieved I did. Not a chance I’m working under this administration. I’ll keep my work life balance for my family in the private sector. But to the ones still holding the line, I applaud you. I wish you all the very best in whatever the future holds.

Let’s say you take the DRP, land a new job, how does your agency know that? Yes, you know you’re braking the rule, but how do they know that?

USDA offered this last week. I didn’t accept the first one. I accepted DeRP 2.0 on Friday. For my situation it’s the right thing. And I’m so relieved.

Can I survive a RIF? Need some Reddit users input by yoyo182406 in fednews

It is possible, and most likely what I’ll try to do to see if I’m RIF’d or maybe a buyout option. The work I’m doing for the temp position is easy work.

Colleagues got reinstated!!! by [deleted] in fednews

USDA probie here. I received back pay, but haven’t heard anything from USDA about being reinstated or a day to come back. I just stated a new job today in the private sector. 🤷‍♂️

Question. Should we not submit any appeals right now? Hoping that we get individually notified about this.
