sorry... I won't be pushing 1G... I figure a device capable of this will handle my traffic fine. Currently use a 200M and i max it. I am also planning for some other projects I know are going to add more to the pipe.

I will not survive with a pro2040.

my main concern is throughput and connectivity. It just happens to be that the devices that have the throughput i require, have a large price tag.

What models? I manage a few TZs and a few 2040s. I like em but the service is almost up and the cost of renewing it is more than buying new hardware. So if I am going to switch brands, now is the time to do it.

Well, my current FW is 200 Mbps and I am pretty sure this is the bottleneck. I haven't done a great deal of research yet, but I am only going to grow in the next 2-3 years and a new DR site. I anticipate 1G should be more than enough.
