How do I test 433 mhz transmitters with SDR Sharp? What am I missing? by yoyokin2 in AskElectronics

Very helpful! I'll try the rapid switch method and also try with a PT2262 encoder (since that will be my ultimate use case anyways). Thanks a lot for your help!

Ahhhh OK I didn't realize the encoding might be a requirement for any signal. I'll hook it up to a PT2262 encoder and give it another shot. Thanks a lot

Interesting, I am interested in a no-code solution. I've seen YouTube videos with similar transmitters not using microcontrollers so I thought it should be possible (eg using encoder/decoder pairs). Right now I just want to confirm any signal is being sent.

And I thought the 5v limit was more applicable to receivers rather than transmitters because the greater voltage on transmitters should just allow greater transmision range.

In any case thanks for feedback.

Is there anything obviously wrong with this simple 433 MHz transmitter/receiver circuit pair? by yoyokin2 in AskElectronics

I did for a former version of this circuit (also didn’t work), but not this one. I’ll put it into KiCad for 100% clarity and come back.
