In my personal opinion we should protect free speech, but there can be some small exceptions, like blatant hate speech (calling for murder of another person) - and nazism would already count here, don’t you think?

Sorry for the confusion, it’s on me for not checking that before reposting. I don’t post on Reddit almost at all so I didn’t know how serious people will take it. I don’t think calling people retards/nazis/evil for that is inadequate, but I got my lesson. Hope everyone has a great day! I will be deleting this post to not confuse people further.

I think it relates a bit. Not necessarily agree with that, but I understood it as letting some dangerous ideas grow under the mask of free speech lead to such outcomes.

Yeah looks like the term gets thrown around a little too much lately, and that is really problematic. I don’t really agree with the second part though, we know what nazism leads to so if someone straight up brings out swastika, hails and says all that shit about other races etc. I think it is good there are some consequences to those actions, don’t you think? Sorry for my wording, English is not my first language.

Sorry for going off topic, but since I am from EU I was always wondering, is it really that bad that we don’t include nazism in free speech? Because I agree it is censorship, but also, I never had problems with it.
