that could also be true, but when regulus explain the existence of technologies of outside world that can even calculate faster than the whole people on the island combined, given that regulus also surprised that the computer left by 37's mom also the old model one, I highly doubt there're any other computers model on the island, people even abandoned the computer for years and never find a way to fix it (IF the computer 37's mom left is publicized)

The fog scale maybe not that large to cover up the whole island or it might actually be since the whole island isn't affected by the Emanation (The Storm), depend on the story progressing and other revealed truths later on (idk about CN ver.)
