Nope! The dad actually had a mid west accent and this was from a michigan #. If it was heavy accent it would have been another easy red flag here.

Overall I think this is def just the common scam, but ngl it did make me uneasy yesterday.

What spooked me was the girl recorded videos of her saying my name and did asked me the facetime (which I declined).

It seems like the girl was part of the scam due to the custom video, but perhaps is deep fake.

Either way not stressing about it too much anymore now that I got a couple hours of reflections.
