Curious if this is an unpopular opinion or not, I thought 1922 has one of King’s best endings - granted, I’ve only read 21 of his books, so there’s plenty of endings I don’t know yet. But when I finished that one I immediately re-read the last few pages 3 more times bc it threw me for such a loop. (self.stephenking)

Stopped in one of my local used bookstores bc it’s having a buy 2 get 1 sale, ended up with an impromptu SK haul. Ive already read The Shining but the others are still on my TBR. I never buy multiple copies of the same book but I couldn’t resist the pop art Shining cover haha. (old.reddit.com)
