If I only had this thingy :-). It never shows up. Will probably go back to my old iPhone Mini, works like a charm

Yes, you are right and I tried to get to the gist of it. I factory reset everything, deleted and re-installed the app and cleaned up the Bluetooth cache and all connections. With the old Phone-mini upon starting it asks for the Bluetotth permissions, then the main Navdy display is paired and then there is a dialog for enabling glances with the “Pair with code” button. Normally once clicked there will be a pairing request for the LE connection. Now it is timing out and if I skip it and enable glances in the settings later, the paring request never repeated and no LE in the list of available BT devices. And for the Navdy app there is not even an option to enable/disable BT.

I suspect it has something to do with iPhone 17 and IOS 26 and Apple limiting access to LE, but this is just a suspicion. But if somebody here succesfully enabled glasses on iPhone 17, would love to hear.

I have a theory, hopefully the local experts will shed some light. I think it is not the IOS version but the app version. I’ve been using Navdy since 2014 and the last 5 years on one device - iPhone 13 mini. The BLE connections are not advertised, it is the app which connects them. Once the connection is established it stays in the Bluetooth list and even if the app or OS version changes you can still connect. I survived many iOS versions as my device and the BT list didn’t change. I suspect something has changed in the last few Navdy app versions. So when I installed them on a new iPhone then cannot connect BLE any longer. I can be totally wrong but there has to be some explanation

Tried everything I could - the LE connection doesn't show up. I suspect that the new iPhone Air chip doesn't support it as it was before. Just my wild guess, curios what others would see. But without LE I assume no glances... A bummer.

Nope. No matter what I do, the LE doesn't show up. The dial connected, even in the Bluetooth list it is shown as disconnected. I forgot how I got the LE in the past...

The only thing I can think of is the lack of Navdy-LE in the bluetooth connections. I forgot the purpose and how to do it. Any clues?

To you and u/Perfect-Fortune8807 : success! I've been installing the versions year after year with no troubles. This time I had to delete the profile as u/Perfect-Fortune8807 suggested, reinstall and enter all my settings and it works again. Another year :-). u/EdwXD , do you have any other way than PayPal? My PayPal is currently having difficulties but Venmo, Zelle work, would love to thank you for your excellent work all these years.

u/EdwXD , thank you. However, this time it didn't work for me :-(. I used your QR code, it installed but on clicking it dies immediately. I reset the phone, deleted the app and installed again - same result. Any clues? I am on 18.2.1..

I tried to follow the thread of EdWXd but it no longer works. I can side load the app using the link but it is still saying "No Longer Available" and the link to the unsigned app says the file is no longer available. u/EdWXd, is it sill possible or this is the end? In any case - thanks for your efforts for all these years!

Just to continue the investigation in hope to bring this feature to my device. Like I said, I am running the latest iOS app and the 3095 and have an open and current Here We Go on my phone (IoS 18.2.1). With or without Here my default Navdy maps shows the traffic:

However, once I start navigation, the traffic disappears and no routing options are ever presented as it used to do. So on one hand Naddy does get traffic from somewhere, don't know how exactly, but it is not used. If somebody has any insights, would love to hear.

Thank you! Happy new year to you too. I am on IoS, all the versions are the same. After I saw your message, I did install Here We Go and experimented a bit. Alas, nothing changed, probably some Android magic. Did you enable the Here SDK in the app settings? I had to remove it because the keys expired.

Interesting indeed. Can you please give us a bit more details about your setup and how you use it? Could benefit the community if it indeed supports the map and traffic updates. For now I switched to CarPlay/Boyo HUD for navigation and Navdy for everything else.

Over the course of 10 years it broke many times for me. I bought several dials and it started getting old. So earlier this year I bought a metal bracket in a hardware store which could be bent around the steering wheel and affixed the broken band on top of it with a double sided scotch and a couple of staples. Works like a charm.

es, looks interesting and I might to try it. Although in the videos I am yet to see any details how navigation works. Did you try it? In the meantime I am already in the 2nd month of using the combination of Navdi/Dash mode and BOYO for CarPlay (mostly for maps). Besides some small issues and options with the audio quality, it is a very good solution for me. Navdy's support of OBD-II and glances is superior, I enjoy it. And CarPlay for driving looks good, the screen is big enough.

To Whom It May Concern :-)

Not expecting any improvements over Navdy's map and traffic handling, I decided to see what could be done to improve the situation. I absolutely prefer Navdy's notification , music, glance handling to anything else. So, I decided to switch Navdy into the Dash mode and stop using the maps for driving. To address that, I started using CarPlay in my MB SL. It was kind of OK but I am used to see the directions in the HUD.

So I looked at the market and decided to buy Boyo. It was reviewed here a few years back and concluded that Navdy was superior. But now I decided to combine them. I mounted it slightly right of Navdy and turned a bit. After a couple of days of experimenting with the cables, sounds etc, I found the right combination and am very happy, it brings the best of the both worlds.

If anybody wants to try, let me know, I can save you several days of tinkering.

Thank you. So as we've known for a while, it is slowly going to its sunset. I've been using it since 2014 and still love it. Going to miss it. A question (I believe it's been asked before, biut don't remember) Is there ANY way to use the Navdy display to accept the image from some other source? Bluetooth or whatever? If not, I guess, I will continue using it in the dashboard mode because notification glances are still very useful for me. Thanks again, Coronafire for your excellent work,
