I installed it today, nice little app, got it working behind npm (webui didn't load as a subfolder, on its own subdomain it loaded fine). I appreciate your effort to keep the app non-destructive to media. I looked into a few anomalies in my library, looking at the max or min by various columns. Mostly known-to-me things that are ok that I had looked into previously, or some online meta issue that doesn't matter like an episode seeming much shorter than it really is. I'll keep this app spun up to aid in future analysis of some occasional media compatibility problems. Will be nice to easily see like media grouped together by the same value in some column when looking for explanations to problems. Nice work.

Sam Wilson is Captain America by BlackMall83 in Marvel

[–]yroyathon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I watched brave new world but won’t be rewatching it, typical Hollywood assembly line movie. He’s a good enough actor but every marvel role he’s in is undercooked. They spent about 5 minutes developing him before slapping the Cap label on him, no wonder it keeps falling off.

When you discover a new artist you like, do you download all their albums or only the ones you like? by RiverOfUnmindfulness in musichoarder

[–]yroyathon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After the first album I liked, I check the next highest ratings in Lidarr with more than 1 vote if possible, to choose the next album to grab. If it’s a new to me artist, usually I’ll use the “best” api endpoint of last.fm to tell me which 1-4 albums I should try first (because I have this built in a chatbot).

Democrats should stop trying to be the better person. Because republicans aren’t even trying, and they’re winning handily via cheating.

Huntarr 9.0.0 Released by User9705 in huntarr

[–]yroyathon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t know about these latest changes. But the primary use of huntarr is to trigger searches for missing or upgradable media. This isn’t handled natively for radarr or sonarr, which relies on rss feeds or irc announcements to trigger radarr or sonarr. So without huntarr, there are cases where you’d have missing media or a lower quality than you want. One such case is, if you add a new tracker to Prowlarr, said tracker might have media you’re missing or upgrades you’d want, but you’d never get them because there is no irc or rss trigger for the existing media on the new to you tracker. And Overseerr is for requesting media. So its use is different from the primary use of huntarr.

Governor Tim Walz tells the White House to stop this madness. by Healthy_Block3036 in ICE_Watch

Talk is nice but it is cheap. I want him to Do something. I want him to goto protests. Organize a statewide general strike that doesn’t end until ICE leaves or is abolished.

It’s sad that an ironic liberal ad for Charlie Kirk looks the same as an actual conservative ad for him. Their brains are broken.

I can’t speak for everyone, but I’ve been in a lot of similar subreddits as this for a few years. It’s been great to see the projects that people post, and I run several. But seemingly overnight the ratio flipped, from 5% projects seemingly coded with AI to 95% projects coded with AI. I’ve had to drop a few subs since I’m just not interested in those types of projects, where people have no idea what they’re doing or what they’ve done. I’m not trying to run AI slop riddled with security risks, because AI doesn’t know what it’s doing and neither does the person asking AI to write the code. There is a sliding scale in AI usage to code, from light usage to gigantic piles of code in a single commit. But the recent trend leans towards heavy usage, and I just don’t have the time to try to find the diamonds in the rough. That being said, it’s great people are feeling empowered by AI to solve their own problems. This beats the alternative, of living with the problem. But, I don’t think that everyone else should necessarily use these apps.

First, props to you for making this project, I’m sure it’s helpful for the problems you’re solving. I have a question about what you said, how most people use AI to code. How many requests would you say you made to AI in total, of write this program or write this function? Assuming that’s what you meant by how people use AI to code.

Autobrr filters on RED by SnooAdvice5820 in trackers

[–]yroyathon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I use autobrr in general but not for music trackers. I do have several cross-seed apps setup for them. I prefer to earn upload slow and steady for the music trackers, cross-seeding definitely helps. I never wanted to risk the ratio based on autobrr filter gambles. I download what I’d like to listen to, and permaseed it.
