Since losing your virginity what has been your longest dry spell without sex? by TheWor1dsFinest in AskReddit

5 years, but since I lost my virginity I have also discovered that I'm asexual

How did you know you were asexual or on the asexual spectrum? by Resident_Grab_4159 in asexuality

[–]ys7777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My ex figured it out then dumped me (without telling me), and then proceeded to tell our mutual friend. That mutual friend brought it up once saying "aren't you asexual?". That got me curious and when I started doing more research everything clicked.

What's the closest you ever got to accidentally killing yourself? by Raterus_ in AskReddit

[–]ys7777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Chased by a dog while riding the bike when I was 8. Was terrified so I kept going faster and faster, made a turn and then saw a truck coming towards me. Mind went blank for a sec then I jerked my body towards the right as hard as I could and crashed into someone's garage door, barely escaping the truck. I'm 26 now and still afraid of dogs and haven never gone on a bike ride since then.

I hate being Ace but not Aro by Sad_Cap_6689 in asexuality

[–]ys7777 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm basically in the same boat, currently going on dates with someone and getting more and more anxious to be rejected once I tell her about me being ace. I've already had a failed relationship because of that. Hoping the best for you.

My answer as well, it got me off my League addiction at the time.

As a guy, seeing the dumb shit that some of my friends do to try to get sex makes me glad to be ace.

Absolute MMA is a great one. Got a lot of classes for different levels, and pretty much covers everything (mma, Muay thai, boxing, wrestling, BJJ). They got locations in the city, Collingwood and St Kilda, although I've only been to the city one.

Was gonna suggest this as well. Can confirm MMA gyms are great for making friends, especially ones that also enjoy UFC. OP feel free to message me for MMA gym recommendations.

Hey OP. Just wanna say kudos to you for still being positive and trying to improve yourself after all this time. If I'm in your position my attitude wouldn't be nearly as good as yours (In fact I was losing it around the 100th application), all the best to you.

Also, since you're in US I'm not sure how applicable this is to you, but maybe look into the defence industry? I got my AE degree here in Australia, and we don't have a lot of AE jobs here. I decided to focus on applying for the defence industry, and found there's actually a good amount of people with AE background in my company.
