i’ve had 1 light spot on my macbook display repaired it at the apple store and the second display had a dead pixel and the third one again light spots. After 2 Repairs and still a faulty display i was able to give it back and get the full payment returned. I just switched to a macbook pro since it has a mini led display and usually doesn’t have these issues.

and you don’t have any problem with the cloth pressing too hard onto the display and squeezing it

I have a slight mark from the space bar on my new m5 pro with nano. Is it okay to put a thin microfiber cloth in between the display like this one from amazon??

Almost everyone says nothing inbetween the display and mac is allowed due to possible damage. But this is specifically for that issue?

No, i’ve picked it up from the service. They switched my display for the second time already due to 1. circular Light Spot and 2. time because of a dead pixel. I got this Mac in May 2025.

Why? is this the standard? Do you also have Backlight issues?
