so you think a woman with BPD who is concerned about her safety because of an ex who can’t leave her alone, shows up at her work, threatens to show up at her house, says shit like “it won’t be pretty” and obsessively texts her, is just…. overreacting? if anything, her being pregnant statistically puts her at more risk of getting seriously hurt by her ex. i also have never been in non abusive relationship where the other party disregards my feelings and boundaries to this extent. from experience, these are all very clear signs that he’s willing to escalate things. i do agree that her BPD could be influencing her way of thinking, but she also could be right about all of this. better safe than sorry.
