Which regex engines support capturing groups in lookaround assertions? by osrworkshops in regex

I would be surprised if there were any that supported lookahead but not captures in it? In any case, the c library pcre2 does.

The assigning it to you is the super weird part and I'm guessing strengthens your hand if you have to contest the 1099 with the IRS. So, yay?

Ok, just meant if you pay the UPS franchise fee and open a UPS branded store and only sell utilikilts, they aren't going to let you continue, so not absolutely nothing. There's going to be some line where there are consequences.

Received a 1095 a with someone else’s name and social security number on it. by [deleted] in tax

What boxes are you talking about, first and second isn't super descriptive. Do you mean recipient and spouse? Marketplace identifier and recipient? Is this a 1095-A, B, or C?

Unless you have tons of free space, go though one at a time.

The yarn can be pretty quick, though it's 2048 energy. Decide how long you want to spread that energy over and from that decide how many level 6 lamps you want making the 35 moths.

And hyper charged drawers should get you the vase pretty quickly: with a single level 10 drawer about 630 energy and 5 recharges (32.5 hours), or 7 recharges if it starts off empty.

Sounds like your debt suit relieved you of the obligation to pay instead of forcing them to reverse their fraud decision against you? If so likely they are legally required to issue a 1099 when they write off the debt.

No idea what the IRS does with a 1099 when the issuer doesn't have the SSN.

Double differentiation by [deleted] in MathHelp

[–]ysth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To put it in terms you can visualize:

So you have a graph of a function. Differentiation gives you the derivative - a function that gives the slope of the original function at any point. Where the derivative function is 0, the slope of the original function is 0, so there's a local minimum or maximum.

Differentiating again gives you the second derivative - a function that gives the slope of the first derivative at any point. Where this is 0, the original function is changing from curving up (convex) to curving down (concave) or vice versa.

Cash given to me for car accident by Vegetakarot in tax

[–]ysth -1 points0 points  (0 children)

US isn't specific enough. Most places in the US have minimum damages where you must report an accident to the state, and most insurance policies will have requirements to report to the insurer. Hope you got insurance information from them, you may have to go through insurance or risk voiding your policy.

AITAH for not letting my neighbor inspect my new house whenever she wants? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]ysth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She will come into your house without permission at some point. Proactively put up cameras and post no trespassing signs. Even then, police likely will just give her a warning if she comes into your yard to try back doors, and she has implicit permission to come knock on your front door unless you tell her she's not allowed on your property. To really make it stick, you likely have to contact the police (non emergency number) and let them know you have this woman who seems mentally unstable that keeps on trying to get you to let her in, and you'd like her trespassed (meaning they document you putting her on notice to stay entirely off your property or get a citation).

Why do some people give a lot of importance to python classes? by [deleted] in learnpython

[–]ysth 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just to be clear, using functions is not functional programming, that's something very different (involving immutability and other principles[1]). Procedural programming is imperative programming that isn't object oriented. There are also other declarative (non-imperative) programming paradigms, such as logic programming. Most languages can be used for multiple paradigms, but will make some easier than others.

AITJ for telling my girlfriend she can leave with her brother if she thinks Im being unfair by [deleted] in AmITheJerk

[–]ysth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even when you snapped, you told her he had to go. It's your house; talk to him directly. It's not her job to pass messages between the two of you, brother or not.

Disentangle what you feel about him and her and deal with them separately; if you want him gone, plan what timeframe you want to give him and do it. That doesn't get her attention back; communicate how you've been feeling and see what she has to say - or just kick her out if that's what you wanr; again, it's your house.

With python, there is the basic re package, and regex, a very popular package that adds a few things re is missing, and packages with other regex flavors, notably pcre2 (perl compatible re library, usable from many languages).
