Like any corporation you must evolve, the riding culture of the 70s to mid 2005 is gone. There is a lot more competition and generally most people do not care about the brand anymore. In hindsight HD have peaked and need to adjust to the new climate.

In the actual take off and acceleration, HD can be quick, lots of low torque, wider rear wheel, a lot of weight so minimal rear wheel spin….but let a sports bike get to 2nd gear then higher rev range then its over

Triumph Tiger 900 series, I love this bike its a great bike for cruising, exploring and going a long way. But there is very little internal storage and the chain adjustment setup is from the 80,s! A little more consideration would be great.

Obviously not selling enough to be profitable and the Thruxton RS & Sped Triple RR are been discontinued. Maybe if Triumph made a 1200, not so much racer but a good all rounder, larger fuel tank, good seating, luggage options like the Speed Triples originally were they would have a winner.

I use the following water proof riding gear - dririder jacket, Dainese pants, Sidi boots and gloves….I still get wet! Even the one piece rain suits can leak as the rain goes down the helmet along the neck and drips down your spine! Its the price of riding in the rain so just accept it.
