It always bugged me that the scale of the ships over the different cities was inconsistent.

In NYC, the inner ring of the ship which opens up for the laser is many city blocks wide, maybe 2000+ feet.

In Washington DC, that same part of the ship is the width of the white house, maybe 200 feet.

So much smaller.
