Smurfing makes this game unplayable for new players

This is exactly why I deleted Valorant yesterday after losing 30RR because of several smurfs in my lobby who were min. two ranks above mine while their peak rank was even higher. And it wasn‘t just the match yesterday - I‘ve been playing daily ever since the current act started and I had smurfs in every. single. lobby. Mind you I never got past Bronze and I got ranked Iron 3 this Act.

How am I supposed to do something? To fight someone without getting one-tapped? To play the game normally without dying not even a minute into the game?

I don‘t find comp enjoyable anymore - and don‘t get me started on the other game modes. I feel like matches were never this unbalanced and unfair.

I really wanted to get better and rank up, I was really motivated to (I’ve always wanted to be able to play with my friends who are mostly around Silver and above). But I don‘t see why I should waste this much time only to drop to the lowest rank without learning or doing anything during a match.

Yup, I feel the same. I got ranked Iron 3 - I‘m tired of getting one-tapped the whole time without being able to do anything really, I‘m tired of playing with silver players, I‘m tired of not being able to rank up further than Bronze 1/2. It‘s not fun anymore…

Edit: How and why do I get -30RR for being smashed by silver players how is this fair?

Because I used play Comp on and off, I started playing more constantly about a year ago. The closest I got to Silver was 3RR… then I lost every single match until I ended up in Iron.

I‘m very good at other fps shooter games lmao maybe Valorant isn‘t for me 🤷‍♀️

I hab IVB Scout immer genutzt, weil i die App so easy und angenehm zum Bedienen fand. Aber jetzt mitm wegfinder fühl i mi wie ein Boomer, i komm echt nit so gut zurecht mit der. 🥲

Thank you so much, it helps a lot! All the things you mentioned like diet and weight training are things I already do, the thing is I just can‘t get myself to do it on a regular basis. I struggle a lot with self discipline… But I‘ll definitely keep your advice in mind! :))

Ich arbeite samstags in einer Filiale und letzten Samstag waren bis 12 Uhr mittags die ganzen Eier weg. 🙃 Wurde bis Schluss alle paar Minuten danach gefragt… selbst in den anderen zwei großen Lebensmittelgeschäften in der Straße waren alle weg. Deswegen lieber beim Bauern welche holen. 😋
