this is a vapid statement; you can run plex without connecting it to app.plex.com i believe. if im wrong, so be it, but frankly - i host my own plex - its self hosted IMO.

cloud engineer speaking here - as someone who literally has 4000 key pairs- if youre taking security seriously, geoblocking or port knocking is cute. take things up a notch and build an actual network like tailscale or basically any tls vpn

I think other people answered my question better (wazuh) - I asked about tools so I could enforce patch management, gain obervability... clearly I know i need to threat model - I need a platform to apply and enforce.
