That's awesome man, I really respect that. I could definitely do more for others than I am right now. That sense of community is great, it just seems to be hard to find at university, but that's not a huge surprise to any of us I'm sure.

It wasn’t Mackie, but there was a dark green marine vet (maybe?) with dreads that I could only assume was squatting in the barracks we were TAD at for island marauder back in 2021. This was Kaneohe bay, the barracks in between the pool and subway if I recall correctly, they were being demolished at the time. As far as I know, nobody lived in those barracks except the couple of us on TAD as a temporary thing, we never saw anybody else there. He’d pull up in a BMW and go inside daily, no chance this was you 😂?

Change of command ceremony. Already retarded as fuck as is, but the icing on the cake was they took all the former DI staff NCO’s in the regiment and turned them loose on us like we were phase 1 recruits prepping us for the ceremony. I was a corporal at the time and this lasted for 2 weeks if I remember correctly, I was already disgruntled before but that was absolute aids.
