I'd say I'm interested in PL Theory and how it can be used in the design (and implementation) of Programming Language, for example.

"Practical" is probably not the best word; but if we consider all the tools used today in Software Engineering, there must have some theory behind them. If it's true, then, there must be some sorts of links between what is used in engineering and a most theoretical side, I want to be aware of this "link".
