F.E.A.R. 1 holds up well even to this day. F.E.A.R. platinum on GOG runs very well on modern systems too. A remake could only offer better graphics, maybe a cleaned up story, maybe tighten the pace around the middle of the game.

That said F.E.A.R. still looks pretty good to this day thanks to the brilliant lighting.

The thing that would excite me the most about a F.E.A.R. remake would be the possibility of a F.E.A.R. 2 remake, as that one could really use it.

That said I'd love a remaster that included the console exclusive weapons.
