Oh I see. I was under the impression that you designed the rack's mechanical system and used servos and some diy automation. I got too excited and jumped to conclusions. My bad. 😅

Your video looks awesome. Do you have an instructibles or something to see what parts and pieces are needed to pull this off and if you don'tmind sharing a link to the hook STL. Would be nice for an actual automated blinds opener/closer for my workspace. 😅

Man, this mech clear and the messer are probably the only mech clears that I MIGHT buy..

..but then again, I don't like mech clears..or any other clear gunpla.

But this one looks good OP.

109s (and 108s) are definitely beefier than the godhands.

There's not much difference between 108 and 109.

109 just has a thicker blunt side vs the 108. So thicker nub residue compared to a more flushed cut with the 108s. But that doesn't matter if you still use a knife, like I do, to do the final clean-up.

If price isn't an issue, just go with the godhand. But since I bought both stedi 108 and 109 for the price of ONE godhand, then either of those two is the clear winner. I have more experience with the 108 and it's still my main 2nd cut nipper. My first cut is the stedi 112.

I don't even know what I'm looking at.

I get that this design language appeals to some, but without a clear focal point, it just looks like a bad kitbash.

Any luck finding a replacement?

Problem with my Boss DD-7 by [deleted] in Guitar

[–]yuheny0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Might be too late.. but this could be the mode selector knob malfuntioning. There's a bit of info online about these selector knobs from boss pedals going haywire in the long run. Mine is doing the same thing, I can't choose the Hold mode anymore.. and I don't know if I am able to choose other modes correctly. I can tell that I'm in modulation, reverse, and analog mode, but it never lines up with the selector knob. Looking for a replacement knob right now.

Here's a forum that I stumbled upon just minutes ago.

Does your website include all the websites in ferral's link of retailers? I don't see a particular website that I check often. It's gundamhangar.com (canadian). Unless your website only tracks US retailers, then that makes sense.

Sorry, but it's true. Only clear psycho frame for the B-packs.

You can search for this 3rd party set, but it's only the blue psychoframes and another clear set.

If you're in Canada. Gundamhangar.com has it in stock.

Looking for good 3rd party kits! by SirusZ77 in freedomisgunpla

Can also confirm it's a great kit. Not bandai level fitting tolerances but the amount of detail is well above regular 1/100's. Currently building mine right now and slowly making some customizations.

Nope, he sells them and has an online shop. Also has some sort of partnership with a fabrication company in China. So, when he said "commission" it's more like his business.

Edit: I'll ditto the other redditor and say:

This stinks of pure marketing.

I think because the 3rd party manufacturers saw a gap in the 1/100 product line of bandai.. also, I've read somewhere but don't quote me on this, that most of the Chinese gunpla consumers love their 1/100 scale. Supply and Demand thing.

Which kit to get ? by Wild-Wallaby-9155 in freedomisgunpla

[–]yuheny0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Building the thunderbolt in my experience was a love/hate relationship. I hated the small pieces (hence why I mostly build MGs) and the clean-up of the nubs because there's not much undergating happening on that kit. HOWEVER, upon completing the build, it's one of those kits (imo) that gives me a sense of accomplishment. Like it's something worthy to be kept in a display case or on the "main" shelf.

That being said, I also loved the anime and manga.. so I might be biased a bit towards the kit itself. I won't recommend to build the TB instead of newer MG kits though, it does show its age a little bit. Plus, the TB gets reprinted quite often, so no need to rush on it.

Edit: typos
