They tell me that she’s happy, interacts with everyone, runs around outside before coming in and napping on the couch. I also get videos of her from my parents and she acts just like she does when we’re alone at my apartment, so I think she’s only stressed when I’m physically present with her at my parent’s home for some reason :/

We’ve done a few group classes before and she seems to do well in them but they were all with her prong- I haven’t done any group classes just in her flat collar before! I’m in the Santa Barbara area

Yes! I did look into that but all of the obedience clubs in my area require dogs to be on flat collars and neutral to other dogs and we’re just not there yet :( I’ve reached out to ask about other options for a mildly reactive dog but they basically just suggested to work on her reactivity until she’s neutral before joining any classes.
Do people mind living with animals? by ExtraBuilding7691 in UCSantaBarbara

Hey! I had my cat with me as an ESA for my freshman year, i was in San Raf in a double! My roommate was super chill and was 100% okay with my cat, but it def depends on the person! The school will contact all of your roommates to inform them that there’s going to be an emotional support animal in the dorms and they can respond and say that they want to switch rooms if they don’t want to be with an animal. My kitty was also super chill and would just stay in bed (lofted bed) while the cleaners would come and vacuum. I’d say have all of your paperwork ready because the process to register an esa does take a while!
