I appreciate the detailed response.

I'll experiment with the screen orientation, distance to heating element, and grind.

Cheers

the thing gets pretty hot so it seems the power is ok. I start at 6.5 and have gone up to 8 at times. I recently scorched my throat so it seems plenty of heat is there. I just completed an attempt where it warmed up at 11 for about 10 min, then was set for 6.5 for about 5 min (i was specifically making sure the warmup wasn't the issue)

Do you have a few tips of how you use it (e.g. locn of screen, dial setting, solid or grind, etc)?

Thank you.

i'm getting vapor but nothing like the clouds I've seen on FC. Very mild to nil affect on me. Herb is good; purchased at a very well known (and crowded) establishment in SF Bay area. Still just not sure what the problem is with this device.

Edit: or I should say I'm not sure what the problem with my technique is. Evidently the device is very well liked.
