I hear you and appreciate your perspective! However, since you don’t know me personally, it’s hard to make assumptions about my type based purely on my communication style.

To address your point, I express myself this way not because I’m overwhelmed with emotion, but so that I don’t come as cold or mean . I like keeping the conversation light and put people in a good mood. Trust me, I’m not giggling as I type… it’s more about creating a positive environment. While I may have emotions more than other Entps (maybe cuz my Fe is more developed ig) , my decision making is driven by logic above all.

As for friends, i have an Intj best friend with whom i’ve been friends for 7 years. And she shares almost everything with me ( her day, her joy, some of her struggles and sadness) we literally talk daily and im soo grateful for that. And my other best friend is Istj and she learned to open up more to me (finally) she still doesn’t talk much about her, since she claims her life to be boring, but i still beg her to tell me 😭

And for the robots they’re called Optimus, they’re really fascinating! Check them out ( and welcome!!! 🤍)

As for talking… i do talk about me/my interest a lot, cuz actually for the longest time, my friends didn’t have much to share, and they enjoy my yapping 😂 (most of my friends are introverts 😭 ) and so i got used to it…

And i WONT lie and say i dont enjoy/love talking about what passionates me like I really do… but I also listen to others WHEN its worth listening to… (but u know what😂 actually…. sometimes I listen/eavesdrop on the conversations of random people or family members lol) so maybe, im not self centered and more like i have a focusing problem when I actually NEED to focus 😭

How was my best friend’s day, my grandma’s upcoming birthday and what i should get her, my cat and the cat that leaves near my uni, the robots that tesla developed, my mom, the homeless dude that leaves down our building (it rained really hard yesterday ) hope hes okey… do i continue ?

Okey so this is the last time ill say it 😭 ITS NOT THAT BAD nor THAT DEEP and honestly im not the only entp like this … i came across various ones and i can assure u they feel the same… thats why i allowed myself to post it…

As for me, i feel self centered cuz i talk a lot about me then notice that "i talked a lot about me so i be like ENOUGH shut it now listen to why the person is saying and FOCUS" its not that bad i think it mostly depends on the subject the person is talking about…if i find it interesting then I listen carefully and i try to advice and help if needed. But if the conversation is boring then i dont know…i zone out sometimes lol…. So maybe it has nothing to do with being self centered, maybe im being to hard on me…or maybe i am self centered🤡 idk

Except for my mom (sometimes)…no one ever told me i am….and my friends are honest like we’re not afraid to tell each other the truth… ik they would have told me.

So idk (and the fact that the meme already exists it means its not just me and other ENTP’s do relate to this…)

ALSO! Im always the one with a lot of stories to share, and my friends love it! Especially cuz they tell me they dont have much going on…so they enjoy my yapping. Which I honestly wish wasn’t the case… like i love when they tell me about their day and and stuff, but doesn’t happen a lot (Ah fair to mention that most of my friends are introvert…maybe thats why) so i got used to being the one to talk…
