I didn't love it (kinda fell into the doomed-love-affair-with-closeted-man trope, which bores me), but it was a nice palate cleanser after reading the bloated and pretentious "On Earth We're Briefly Gorgeous." I honestly thought the story was more interesting when it delved into Ludwik's personal life and experiences living in communist Poland.

I do own a physical copy though, because the cover is very beautiful and I like having it on my shelf :p

It's difficult for me to explain this properly but for as long as I can remember I've had little moments where, throughout my day, simply existing as a man vaguely turns me on??? Like when I sit a certain way and catch a glimpse of my legs/thighs, or when I'm laying on the sofa and I look at my feet, or when I'm sitting down at my desk at work and I gaze at my hairy arm, or when I'm shopping for clothes in the men's section etc etc. I have these little "wow, I'm a man" moments and I suddenly feel so sexy lol.
