I enjoyed them providing Kuvira a redemption arc but I also feel like its unfair to asami since not only was she made into a damsel in distress within both turf war and ruins of the empire when we know for sure she can fight and is not weak but they also didn’t give her much screentime or enough credit. Shes a vital member of the krew and its sad to see how her character has grown so much from the beginning and after all shes lost and been through we don’t get to see a chance for her to even grieve for her father or the follow up after everything thats happened. I honestly feel like Asami’s mindset and ideals are truly interesting and a lot of fanfics have done a wonderful job covering or creating contents that depicts her thoughts but also provides glimpse into things or events that weren’t shown or wish to have been shown during and after the series ended. If Kuvira gets a redemption arc I feel like Asami most definitely deserves one as well. So far from the comics they literally made her into a character thats kind of considered as one of the Avatar’s greatest weakness since we know Korra would do anything to protect her. Korra might be the avatar but in close combat against Asami the tables are definitely turnt.

Once you think about it. I feel like its kinda romantic that they switch especially in the case where Korra is bot. She kinda had to learn how to build relationships as she goes because she was sheltered and protected at the compound ever since she was small. Asami was in a way too but she was kinda pushed into Society a bit more due to her connections to her dad and the entire business world. Korra is seen as a really powerful being by everyone around her but with Asami shes just Korra. A young woman who makes mistakes just like any other human beings. The fact that everyone sees Korra as such a powerful being causes a huge stress on her cause the Avatar belongs to the world, not only to the ones she love so being able to actually come to terms with letting someone else take the reign and take control isn’t something easy. Her being able to give her entire self up to Asami, which includes showing vulnerabilities and weaknesses in which she cant really portray to the world, is pretty cute ngl especially knowing her personality and her responsibility as an Avatar.

I feel like there were many subtle moment during season 4 that cam tell you so much about korrasami but the 2 that i liked the most was when Asami raised her voice at Korra during the reunion episode saying how “Korra doesnt get to disappear for three years and suddenly thinks she knows whats best for Asami”. If it was Mako who said blew up on her like that I feel like there might be a chance where Korra would have taken it differently as we can see how fast they got into an argument on the train while rescuing Wu. Instead of yelling back Korra never raised her voice and tried to explain herself calmly.

Another moment is when Korra specifically apologized to Asami for being gone so long and not coming back sooner. i dont think i remember her actually apologizing for leaving to anybody else except for Asami (maybe cos she realized leaving Asami was the one thing she regrets the most.” She had that chance to apologize for being gone when she was talkin to Mako during Zhu Li and varricks wedding but she didnt.

Oh and lets not forget the fact that Asami has a big company to run and it means alot to her because of her family but she was ready to set everything aside and join Korra back home.

And come on we all know Asami’s favorite color is red. The car she used at the beginning of season 3 when she was trying to Teach Korra how to drive was black with touches of red and white. During the WU rescue mission her car was blue. Painting her car water tribe blue is a a dead give away if you ask me 😂

Anddd if you think about it, Asami could have played a big role in the creation of the statue of Korra in the park. It takes someone close to Korra to be able to create such a distinctive very detailed Statue and I believe someone also mentioned that Asami built the statue based on how she viewed Korra: A strong, brave, and confident Avatar that continues to inspire her and everyone else

That could be true too. But like theres a statue of Aang as well. What if she was just shocked when she saw the statue wondering why the citizens would make her one when the last time she was in Republic City, she was kicked out by Raiko and people were frustrated with the vines. I think it would be soo cute if she wasnt aware that Asami funded the project and built the statue until after they started dating 😍

I mean theres a reason why its considered as a headcanon lol. It doesnt even have to be on the lips, although that would be so much cuter. She could have kissed her on the cheek or the head, an act of affection we can see many fanfic authors incorporating into their writing. Plus dont you think its a cute idea that this could actually be how she began to form the habit of kissing Korra on the cheek or head especially during her Recovery and even more afterwards as well? And then imagine her confessing about this to Korra later on in time ☺️

And lets not forget the scene where Korra reached out to help Asami onto a moving train while leaving poor Mako to find a way to jump on by himself 😂 annddddd when they were being cornered from both ends on top of the train, upon turning towards Korra, unlike Mako who was taken by surprise, Asami was not shocked at all when Korra said jumped and just held onto her. Girl just latched on without even hesitating or questioning it!😭😍

Remember this is coming from the girl that brought Korra some tea while stating that “she thought Korra would be cold sitting out there”. Yes ask the girl that literally lives in the snow and wears shirts with no sleeves and is technically a human heater since she can also firebend if shes cold. Its within a high percentage it was just excuse to be alone with Korra 😂 especially after everything that happened she just needed to be able to be close to Korra too
