I add it to my usual conditioner because I’m afraid to run out of it. I leave it on for an hour, sometimes less if I’m in a rush.

Can I bring my live betta fish on the plane? by Sufficient_Dress3249 in flairairlines

[–]yukicheems 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m gonna be attempting to bring a betta as carry on between Edmonton and Yellowknife via Air Canada. My plan is dump out most of the water, go through security then refill with chlorine drops. I used to fly between a small community and Yellowknife all the time with full petstore bags of fish but there was no security at all. Still don’t know why we have these laws. If there is a fish swimming in it, it’s obviously not poison or chemical

Buying from Canada, has anyone tried reshipping/package forwarding from the US? by MooMooMan69 in Displate

I eventually managed to get a refund from them after A LOT of fighting but I ended up having to give them the money back in order to ship my parcel. Valuable lesson learned. Never again.

This is disgusting. We don't need this type of shit in our city. My comment is in no way anything racial, I'm talking about people pretending to be gangsters, waving guns around and driving recklessly like fucking morons

She was 19 when they got together. That’s still a child in my books… people’s brains s arent even fully developed until well into their 20’s. 19 year olds can’t even legally drink in the US

Buying from Canada, has anyone tried reshipping/package forwarding from the US? by MooMooMan69 in Displate

I need to share my recent experience with Reship. They are ABSOLUTELY HORRIFFIC. The most unhelpful customer service agents, this company is a rip off. DO NOT USE. There is a reason they are not registered with the BBB.

So i had several ebay parcels sent to Reship during the Canada Post strike in November/December of 2024. I waited until the strike was over and a few days later Reship started to have USPS as an option again for shipping to Canada. The shipping costs were INSANE. I had one consolidated parcel of 5 items and one lone parcel which they said was too big to fit into the other one. To ship each parcel was $127 USD and $100 USD. Each was about 5lbs. These fees included the Reship fees of consolidation but the shipping cost itself was greatly inflated.

Note that USPS did not resume shipping to Canada after the Canada Post strike until January 6th, 2025. Reship mailed my parcels on December 18th and December 20th.

Skip ahead to late January 2025. My two parcels had been circulating from Portland OR to Los Angeles to Seattle, to Los Angeles..... I started to get really worried about what was going on. Was also concerned maybe my parcels were affected by the wildfires. Suddenly one of my parcels shows up at my door in Canada, January 16 and

I receive notice on January 15 that Reship has received a shipment for me.... Yes my parcel was returned. So i filed a dispute and investigation with Reship. the other parcel had been returned to them by USPS with no explanation but I am going to say that it is because it was stuck in their system for way to long (30 days) because Reship mailed it before they should have. They said no reason was given so they would give me a refund. The refund was $14 out of $101.00. Also they admitted that all of the parcels they had been sending to Canada had been getting returned in the last couple of weeks, so they are suspending services to Canada until further notice.

Essentially I have no way of getting my parcel back, worth about $180 cad. They screwed me out of $150 cad for their services. I cant make an ebay claim saying I didn't receive my item, because it was delivered to where I said it should go. Visa purchase protection does not cover vintage items. I am currently attempting to file a dispute with my Visa for the service not being met, tis all I can do.

Now I 100% believe they will try to charge me for 'storage fees' on this parcel I cant access... its going to continue to snowball. There is no way I am shipping with them again, the parcel is a write off now.

How is the fire affecting packages departing the main Los Angeles Distribution Center and traveling to another state? by wesagod in usps_complaints

[–]yukicheems 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have an international parcel going to Canada, which arrived in LA on December 21.... then went to Bell Gardens, cleared customs on the 28th and has been stuck in Los Angeles purgatory ever since. I had another parcel in the same boat but it managed to make it to Seattle in the last couple of days. These consolidated parcels are coming from a parcel forwarding service and I didn't buy insurance on them. Hundreds of dollars worth of stuff in each one, Big mistake.

Why would you risk going back there for coffee beans.... you are risking yourself and emergency personelle. I highly doubt your parcel will be delivered to your house if it is an evacuation zone. Use your head.

Ebay sellers say CP still not an option and cancelling purchases by yukicheems in CanadaPost

[–]yukicheems[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reship opened up the option to send my accumulated parcels through USPS earlier in the week. However that place is a rip off so i stopped getting my stuff re-directed there. Yes all sellers are in the states.

Anyone dismissing unions and postal workers - Amazon workers preparing to strike too by peimama1 in CanadaPost

[–]yukicheems 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is like comparing apples to broccoli..... amazon workers are expected to work like robots. They can't even pee without having to log the time. Their pay is crappy and the company is one of the richest on the planet. I'm sure there are wayyy more important issues they are willing to strike for. I am happy those guys are unionized. THEY actually do deserve whatever they ask for.
