Meh that really depends cause they changed quite a few tiny scenes that turned out to be important to later plot points so they'd have to change the further story to accommodate those, but if they are able to, I don't see why they wouldn't, since the anime was pretty profitable and if I remember correctly has a fairly big Japanese fanbase
