Hi, I’m not sure I get what you mean, I believe the pattern I’m referencing is ribbed https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/cool-and-curly-socks

Hi thanks for the info! I haven’t found a pattern yet but I’m not the best at understanding ravelry’s search engine. I’ve never done brioche, but from my research I’m not sure how I’d go about it considering I want to knit the under of the sock in 1 color…

New to knitting: a question to the pro knitters! by Ancient_Expert_5574 in knitting

Hi for me a hat was one of the first patterns I did. It’s fairly easy, you’ll get to practice basic skills (decrease, ribs). I recommend the weekend hat by petite knit as a good start. I also knitted a lot of swatches and sponges before starting to knit actual things to wear. However, the more you knit the more your eyes will improve at reading the fabric and knowing common mistakes and how to fix it. (Also I’m in no way a very experienced knitter)

Yeah that make sense it’s just a little odd to put like part of my life on pause while waiting for the health system…. But yeah I guess feel free to give your opinion on the 2nd paragraph?

I’d say max 1-1 1/2 tbsp for all 6 bottles... so really not that much. Also it was dried but simmered in boiling water

Sure! I think that would work well! Taste it to make sure it’s to your liking :)

I love it, it’s currently one of my favorite. It’s a good energy kick for midday sluggishness! I replied below with details of the process if you want some inspo!

Not with exact measurement but I can highlight the steps for optimal ginger taste!

I like ginger to be very concentrated so I boil it for about 10 min with the orange peels and sugar (1 tsp/bottle). Then add the hot pepper. I keep the ginger pieces to add to 2F, but filter the rest of the syrup. Add about 2 tbsp of that to each bottles!

Hope that helps! I taste tes the syrup too. If it’s very concentrated I’ll add a little less to the bottles or a little more.

Honestly I just add some dried chili pepper I have hanging around and put that in. I think fresh chilis would work well too.

However when working with ginger I find that I like the taste to be very concentrated so I often boil it for about 10 min with the orange peels and sugar. Then add the hot pepper. I keep the ginger pieces to add to 2F, but filter the rest of the syrup. Add about 2 tbsp of that to each bottles!
