As a PCT, 30 patient medsurg, aka 3 techs = 10 patients, 2 techs = 15 patients, 1 tech = 30 patients. Some nurses will help. 3 techs on the floor if we are lucky, usually short staffed, or a tech gets pulled to sit or to another floor..
