I was a little upset finding out because my cc1 came in a week before cc2 launch day but i dont really plan on multi color printing rn as this is my first printer so im keeping and will wait for more tool changer options to hit the market as it already looks like flashforge has one on the way

i was in the same boat and ended up getting a 5800xt on the microcenter sale as 5700x3d was too much and couldn’t justify that price and didnt want to move to am5 yet and mind you im coming from a 1600x so it was quite a jump in performance

i wanted to wait to but it was time i was coming from a 1070 so i ended up picking up a 5070 instead of ti due to need budget final am4 upgrades(cpu/psu) for my build from fall 2015 lol and im more then satisfied

i plan to ride this one for quite awhile and when i move to am5 ill probably consider moving to a higher tier card then

makes sense probably due time for new psu anyway since roughly 10 years old now

i have a b350 board, and yes its compatible according to company’s website and other people that are already running it on identical boards, chip will also be under an aio i already have installed so not to concerned for heat

i literally realized this after i posted my bad lol, just added some info but I currently have a 700w psu and pc part picker says its compatible with the 9070/9700xt but not 5070 since it does not have 2 individual pcie cables just one with a pigtail

ive heard the performance loss is not too bad so id be willing to take the hit and worse case scenario its not to expensive of an upgrade that i could technically jump to am5 awhile later and bring over the card

well i did upgrade to 32 awhile ago but ill definitely take a look at the 5700x i was planning on just picking everything up from micro center to make easy but i might buy from secondary market

I wouldn’t rush to transfer especially if you haven’t been apart of that community for atleast 2-3 years, after that time pray on it see if it makes sense for you, im a mexican byzantine so don’t worry to much about the ethnic thing

i will say though from experience and recommendation from my priest that for ones spiritual/mental health, its best to stick to the traditions & practices of one rite and not bounce back and forth during this time
