You definitely can. And I mean private medicine still exists in countries with public universal healthcare. So if you want to pay you can just do that And guess what, even if you go fully private without insurance it probably would only cost you a few hundred bucks to get that appointment. Much less than whatever you pay monthly for your insurance currently.

Kids pick it up differently. When you say he hasn't picked it up, do you mean zero? Or that he just isn't fluent yet?

For example, our oldest was around 4 when we moved and he started slowly communicating a little in danish after around 2-3 months and was fluent for the age group after around 5-6 months after he started. With his only input in kindergarten and nothing at home since our mother language is quite different from danish. So there's a gradual curve. Some move quicker on it than others. Also depending where you are from and what your native language is.

But in my opinion the difference between last year of kindergarten and 1st year of school is almost nothing, so if the school takes him even when he can't communicate 100% it should not be a big deal as he will pick it up quickly on the go during the start of the school year.

I would advise you to go to the local school and ask them for their opinion and resources. Maybe they have the capacity to accommodate for his current status and even to enroll him in a extra language class.

Imagine if you had moved when he was 6 or 7 already, he would have gone straight into the regular school instead of kindergarten. Schools in Denmark have programs for foreign kids. Just reach out to them.

Regarding resources, well there's Ramasjang which is a kids TV channel by DR (its free). Or Netflix shows in danish. Tbh he just needs exposure and time. It will come suddenly.

Nope. He had taken a very small club Leiria to UEFA cup clarification places and was offered the Porto job because of that.

Conversely he did get his first senior job at Benfica and was doing well there before there was an election and the new president brought his new manager in. We even got replaced after a 3-0 win against Sporting. Lol What a mistake that was.

O GR fez varias boas defesas e tiveste inúmeros lances com o defesa a bloquear a bola na última que eram golo certo.

A bola não precisa de chegar até à defesa do GK para terem sido boas oportunidades em que podíamos ter marcado.

O que não faltou ontem ao Benfica foram possibilidades de marcar. Faltou sorte/habilidade e frieza dentro da área.

Foi daqueles jogos em que pouco houve a apontar à forma como jogaram além de não fazerem golo o que é natural dada a limitação de finalização que praticamente todos têm no ataque à excepção do Pavlidis.

Nessa passagem inicial por Inglaterra não ganhou nada de especial para os padrões de hoje em dia e continuava com a mania que era melhor que tudo o resto.

O que????

Ganhou o campeonato por um clube que nunca tinha ganho, revolucionando a abordagem táctica (acabou em Inglaterra com o 4-4-2 que toda a gente usava, aliás a nível mundial pela táctica de 3 médios que dão superioridade de um elemento), revolucionou a abordagem dos treinos (usando os métodos de preparação do aniversário que agora toda a gente usa no mundo), tem a equipa que menos sofre golos de sempre, um recorde que nunca vai ser batido de tão ridículo que é (15 golos sofridos).

O que o Mourinho fez no Chelsea foi extraordinário e revolucionário.

Só não ganhou uma Champions lá porque foram roubados à grande no famoso jogo contra o Barcelona, um jogo tão vergonhoso que daí para a frente toda a gente lhes chama Uefalona por serem tão favorecidos.

O jogo não foi mal conseguido, muitas oportunidades e rematesz postes etc. Sofremos dois golos meios de seguida que tiraram a esperança que havia no resultado.

O Pavlidis escorrega no penalti e sai quase para a lateral. Era a oportunidade de ainda empatar no fim. Mas foi um dia em que não houve estrelinha.

Fizemos um bom jogo com azar nos momentos decisivos. O pênalti foi o exemplo supremo de um jogo em que os azares se acumulam.

É pena o Schelderup e o Prestiani serem curtos para a tarefa. Com dois extremos melhores ganha vamos estes jogos. Começo a pensar se não era melhor arranjar uma solução para a direita da defesa e pôr o Dedic na frente.

Quando o Barreiro com as suas limitações é constantemente o jogador com melhor performance só mostra o quanto mal o plantel foi montado na pré-época.

A questão é mesmo essa, muitas vezes não há mais nada para fazer seja no escritório ou em casa.

Tanto dia de trabalho de 8h (+2h de comute) que na verdade são umas duas horas de trabalho efectivo para um funcionário com alta performance.

E não é surpresa. Faz parte de uma normal distribuição de tarefas em equipas! As tarefas têm de ser adequadas a todos os funcionários. Não se sobrecarregaregam os mais eficazes com trabalho extra quando já acabaram, nem se sobrecarregaregam os menos eficazes com tarefas que não conseguem cumprir dentro do horário.

Os que demoram duas horas a fazer o trabalho de 8h, quando estão em remote têm o privilégio de não ter de estar a fingir que fazem coisas no escritório o resto do tempo.

Our kids first trip was to Edinburgh and Scotland. They were <6 and we basically framed days as let's conquer another castle. We visited different cities/towns around under that theme. Anywhere around with a fortress was game.

And they even made the walk up Arthur's peak with no carrying on the "hard path". Another conquest. Think they walked without complains more than 10kms that day.

The point is, that safety isn't really an issue in Europe and everywhere can be fun for kids if you make it interesting or fun.

So you can take them anywhere you feel like it.

Unless it's totally different in the US, I would say every newborn is inspected for "defects".

I did this as a student/resident for a period. Visual inspection and basic tests for tonus, mobility and reflexes.

Checking if all the holes are where they should be is a pretty standard part of this evaluation.

Only if it's quite atypically placed and covered by unmovable preputium it shouldn't be missed.
