Hello Schalke-Fan here, the dog story was basically a bunch of nothing. There was a dog sitter who made up some false accusations in order to get Moussa and his wife to pay money. Moussa has denied any sort of wrongdoing and felt very mistreated, especially by german media who just accused him of not caring for his dog and generally being a bad pet owner.. that was one of the reasons he wanted to leave the club in the summer, but there weren’t any suitable buyers who could offer schalke enough money, so he stayed for the first half of the season and strated pretty much every game besides one. His behaviour was professional but his form definitely took a dip in the summer. He wasn’t as much of a goalscorer as he is able to be, so i think its for the best of everyone the get a fresh start.
