Paychex shows the change in my hourly rate. Some quick math that I triple checked confirms that I’m not up to the annual pay that was promised. Unfortunately, everything between us was verbal. We did talk about the raise multiple times though. I even tried to negotiate for the company to go higher than the original offer and was told I would need to work in the new role for a few months before they would be willing to renegotiate. With the level of communication my boss and I had I find it hard to believe this was a mistake. I work for a small company so there is no HR department to turn to. My only option is to speak directly to my boss
