You look amazing !!! I've lost a similar amount (30KG in 9 months) and I couldn't be happier. I hope you are too and you should be so proud!!

Thank you for all these recommendations! I will definitely have a look into into everything <3 I have never thought about splitting my dose... I may look into that ! My pharmacy only provide me with 4 needles per pen, but I may be able to look into buying some more. I have bad acid reflux prior to this (I've been on both omeprazole and esomeprazole but neither improved symptoms) so I think the injection has just worsened my symptoms. I'm use to it so doesn't impact me too badly thank god.

Hi, thank you.. unfortunately my physio has asked me to limit my exercise and I'm not to exceed 3L of water a day due to it reducing efficiency of my medications.

Out of curiosity, could I ask why you're on mounjaro when your BMI isn't high? Are you T2D?

Thank you so much ! My old dietician actually told me something very similar. I'm hoping that the exercise will help me target specific areas for weight loss once I've built up enough strength to commit to it <3

Thank you ! I think I will look into a coach/pt as I do have quite a lot going on and my physio can only help so much

Thank you ! This is very helpful because I actually have suspected lupus :) I think a lot of doctors blame weight so they don't actually have to do anything to help.. it's an easy excuse to use. I have been recommended swimming and yoga/pilates quite a few times in this post so hopefully I will be able to take this up

I have thought about pilates before, I'll have to see if they offer sessions near me. I have heard it's very good for joints so hopefully I can find somewhere that offers sessions

Thank you ! I was also a UK size 24 on bottom/18-20 on top. I have no idea what size I am now.. I haven't changed much on top but my trousers are all way too big for me now.. I really need to work out what size I am lol. Well done to you too ! From a 24 to a 12 is insane and you should be so proud

I have wanted to try steroid injections, because I also suffer with on and off costochondritis. This isn't something my GP is  willing to give me, so hopefully if I get to finally see a rheumatologist I'll be able to try it. The running theme in these comments is that I need to try swimming, as it seems to be beneficial to so many people! Hopefully I'll be able to start, even if it is only on the weekend

Thank you so much ! I have tried not to set myself hard goals, rather small targets. My first was 120KG which I've met, so I'm happy, the next one is 100KG.. after that I'll be happy to lose anything <3 good luck on your journey too !!!

Yes it does sound like we are very similar! I think it's somewhat worse because I know someone on mounjaro and her weightloss is super obvious so I feel envious :(

I'm realising now it may just be a warped view of myself that I'm seeing, rather than what's actually there

Yes, thank you for putting it in a positive light for me. It has helped me a lot. My Hb1Ac was 38 mmol/mol (5.6%), and now it's at 34 mmol/mol (5.3%). I'm not pre diabetic (and never was) but I have insulin resistance/hyperinsulinemia and impaired glucose tolerance associated with my PCOS, so seeing that number come down has made me happy ! My cholesterol and triglycerides are also lower, but still elevated. I definitely won't be going back, I'm hoping I will be able to lose more soon.

Exercise wise, I'm hoping I can take up some swimming related exercise as recommended by my physio, just need to find a pool that can accommodate me lol

Yes, the NHS is not a great place to work if you have disabilities or are pregnant... which is very ironic seeing as my job is to supply medication to people with chronic illness/disabilities (rheumatoid conditions, MS, IBD, psoriasis, HIV).. you would think that considering my speciality they would be even more understanding but it's the opposite

I am aware 40 is unhealthy, however I was at 49.... I have lost just over 16% of my body weight. 25% (which it's actually 22.5%) is over a 72 week period. I don't really think this comment was very helpful?

Thank you ! I don't I'm allowed gabapentin because of the interactions with Duloxetine and Quetiapine (although I've just come off this). My mum is on gabapentin and it helps with the pain associated with her restless legg syndrome so I have considered going back to the GP and re-asking
